I have been a freelance lighting designer since 2001 and a master for event technology since 2003. My main focus is contemporary dance, but I also enjoy lighting for performance and theatre.

I am still fascinated by light, the many possibilities to create something new and to respond to the respective productions. To emphasise or stimulate sensations and moods, to set accents and focal points and, to a certain extent, to direct attention.

I like to work with different light sources (neon lamps, discharge lamps, etc.), shadows and colours, and also take unconventional paths. I have often integrated light installations that I have created into my lighting concepts. I also find it interesting to create light in unusual places.

I am open-minded, enjoy working with people, like travelling and have accompanied many guest performances in various small and large venues all over the world.
